The Fall Report: Part 3 - Bulldogs Fall Asleep and Let One Slip Through Their Fingers

September 22, 2018

Despite a fast start and twice as many hits as a young Carol Stream Storm team, the Bulldogs lost by 1, losing the lead in the bottom of the 4th.

The story of the game was really a lack of energy and momentum later in the game.  The Bulldogs seem to lose some momentum late with a few critical wild pitches and some defensive indifference.

On the bright side, the Bulldogs high powered offense showed up again, scoring 10 runs on 10 hits in the game.  Tratar, Seemann and Dean all had multiple hit games accounting for 7 of the 10 hits the Bulldogs collected on the evening.  The Bulldogs will have a shot a evening the score when they play the Storm again later in September.
